Listed by Larner as being on an Edinburgh porteous roll from 1683, but Larner did not provide a full reference with a box number. Therefore I was not able to find this reference and did not find it in the boxes I surveyed, which covered the year 1683. It is possible this person was accused only of charming and that I did not take a note of it. I have ticked Mixed Central/Local Trial, because porteous rolls were drawn up for circuit courts.
