Pre-trial notes
William Scot was ordered by the High Court when it was sitting in Dalkeith to take her to Edinburgh tolbooth on 9/8/1661. On 20/8/1661, Scot and Calderwood ordered to get the witnesses ready for her trial. Trial date was reset for 10/9/1661. She was ordered to pay six pence perday for maintenance till her trial. She confronted Margaret Grintoun in Gilmerton 14/8/ 1661. After her not guilty verdict she petitioned the Privy Council to be released from prison.
