He and Katharine Wilson complained about being falsely accused by falsified depositions written by James Mowat. They produced 14 witnesses in their complaint. He finally testified in front of the PC on 13/7/1630. JC26 has an interrogatory set for him. He was to asked about his involvement in Lady Samuelston's plot to kill her husband and the supposed conspiracy to kill Manderston. JC26 also has a copy of a presbytery minute from 7 Aug. 1623. He answered the charges against him on 26 August 1630.
